Michael Gove, MP for Surrey Heath, visited today Portesbery School, which moved into a brand new, purpose-built premises in Deepcut, and was officially opened by HRH The Countess of Wessex in November last year.
The School caters for children aged 2-19 with severe learning and physical difficulties, and Michael was taken on a tour of its amazing up-to-date facilities by the Headteacher, Matthew Sartin.
Michael said:
"I was delighted to have been invited to Portesbery School, and I am incredibly impressed, not only be the world-class facilities, but also by the evidently dedicated Head Teacher and his staff who develop a close affinity with all the children with patience and understanding.
I am so pleased we have such a brilliant new school in Surrey Heath, with an equally brilliant staff."
