The Rt Hon Michael Gove MP was delighted to have visited Carwarden House Community School on 3 October.
Michael met the Headteacher, Jarlath O’Brien, and Deputy Headteacher, Alex Ewen, and had a tour of the school. He got the chance to see the students in action, visiting a Year 7 Food Technology lesson in which he asked the students about their work and the equipment they were using.
The students also got the chance to Michael some questions, one of which was "What do you do?”. He explained that as Chief Whip in the Government, he is responsible for discipline and the behaviour of Members of the Government and of the Conservative Party.
